We're getting married!

Though technically we met at our favorite local bar in Ellensburg, WA (The Nodding Donkey), I distinctly remember meeting Nick in college years prior. We had both gone to Central Washington University, and Nick had graduated during my sophomore year. I worked at the front desk of the on-campus recreation center when I first met Nick. I thought "There's no way this guy doesn't have a girlfriend." Sure enough, at the time he did. He graduated and moved to Maple Valley and then, COVID hit. Nick had moved back to Ellensburg in 2021 and that's when we had our first encounter at the Donkey. I remembered him from college and our friend groups had bumped into each other one night. Then, flash forward a couple of encounters over the course of a couple of months, Nick takes me on our first date. We watched the sunset over our college town that would turn into our home years down the road and talked about everything there was to talk about. It was pretty clear to both of us that night that our connection was meant to be something special. In the past two and a half years, Nick and I have been on many successful hunting and camping trips, family getaways, mini vacations, and everything in between. We love to spend time outdoors, with our friends who have turned into family, and with our dog Riggs. Nick proposed to me in December of 2022 on our vacation in Hawaii. With the help of our great friends, Nick proposed at sunset on Baby Beach and I had no idea! Some could say it's because I'm pretty gullible, but I think it's because Nick had every intention to make it perfect. We cannot wait to enter into our married lives together come September! We are looking forward to celebrating our relationship and our special day with all of our loved ones.
