Our story started like many others, in high school, but high school sweethearts we are not. We knew of each other, had several mutual friends, but no romance was in the air. We went down two different paths, our lives veering away and led by what seemed like destiny.  But destiny wasn’t done with our story, and ten years later and found ourselves walking the same path closer than ever. Acquaintance became friendship, which blossomed into love, and before we knew it we were walking hand in hand. Seven years have passed since then and we have created a life together.  Raising two girls, starting our own businesses, reinventing ourselves, and traveling the world. It was on one of these world travels when our life path extended to the horizon.  You may or may not know this about me, but I love to plan every detail on vacations, from trip itineraries to matching outfits. During our last trip through Italy, I was photographing the hills in Tuscany, taking in the beauty, and turned around to look at Ignacio.  There he was, on his knee, ring in hand. (Not on the schedule!) “We” are the best thing I never planned. We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
