Our Adventure Begins!

First of all, neither one of us were looking for love. But like they say, you fall in love when you least expect it. I was finishing up my internship at the YMCA, which is where Logan worked. After six months of working at the YMCA, Logan and I found ourselves spending more time together outside of work with our mutual work friends. And then my 21st birthday happened…which resulted in Logan singing “Call Me Maybe” at the local karaoke spot. It wasn’t until a day later when we exchanged numbers. We then went on our first date a week later, which included walking across the local bridge from Iowa to Illinois and back. During our walk, our interest for one another grew, leading to many more dates, and eventually us falling in love with one another. Over the past 7 years we have overcome the challenges of a long distance relationship, but we wouldn't change it for the world. It has allowed us to cherish every single moment when we are together!
