Josh and Liz met during their first year of college at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado. They had two classes together, and as Liz will tell you it was not love at first sight. Josh was endeared by the professors, they loved to hear how his day was going especially when he was late to class. Liz started asking herself "who is this guy". Not only did he showed up late to class but he would be the cause of her not getting a second cup of coffee between lectures. They had mutual friends together but would not meet again until Junior year of college. During the summer of 2013, Josh moved back to Denver after spending a year in Montana. Liz had decided to stay in Denver for the summer instead of going back to California. Not knowing anyone, Liz was invited by mutual friend Ryan to his apartment where Josh also lived for a small friend get together. From that point on, this small group of friends would get together every weekend for a movie night, hiking, dinners, and downtown Denver adventures. Josh made several attempts to ask Liz on a date, but didn't seem to work very well. Josh became more involved in Liz's daily life such as helping her shop for work supplies, getting her a new battery for her car, and attending church service. Needless to say, this would win her over. And that is first how their love began, and has grown over almost seven years.
