We're Getting married

Marissa Vega and Robert Burrell’s love story began in the halls of North Olmsted High School, where two teenagers, just 15 and 16, met and quickly became inseparable. What started as a young high school romance soon grew into something lasting and deeply meaningful. Their very first “date” was a study session for AP Government. Marissa was so nervous she could barely focus (and might say she even forgot how to read), while Bob was so giddy he couldn’t stop smiling through every word. It was in those sweet, awkward moments that something real began to take shape. In those early days, it was the little moments that meant the most, like waiting by each other’s lockers just to spend a few extra minutes together between classes, even if it was only three. Along with those small but meaningful memories came the bigger ones: Marissa cheering Bob on at his baseball games, getting dressed up for homecoming and prom, and spending time exploring the Metroparks on long hikes. Together, these moments built the foundation of a relationship rooted in friendship, laughter, and genuine connection. As the years went on, their bond only grew stronger. They stood side by side through life’s many milestones: landing their first jobs, earning their driver’s licenses, and taking on the challenges and excitement of college life. With each new chapter, they continued to support and encourage one another, always moving forward together. Eventually, their journey led them to their first home, where they began building not just a life, but a future. Through every step, their love remained steady, grounded in the same care and commitment they discovered as teenagers. Now, Marissa and Bob are excited to begin their next chapter as an engaged couple, preparing for a marriage filled with love, support, and a lifetime of shared dreams.
