We're Getting Married!

It was the end of spring semester 2017 at Appalachian State University. Vimbikai introduced himself at a fraternity party to a beautiful young woman he had never met before. Ironically Vimbikai and Catherine had class together but they were unaware because it was a large auditorium. Finals were coming up and they needed to prepare so they met at the library for a study date. The next day they went on a date to play pool. The following day they went to dinner at a local restaurant in Boone, NC. Vimbikai was so nervous he barely ate! A few days later he was traveling home to Harare, Zimbabwe for summer break. However, the distance did not stand in the way and they accumulated hours and hours of facetime calls wanting to learn everything about each other. After a few months had gone by they were excited to be back on campus to see each other that fall. After being on campus for a few days Catherine had alluded to the question of them being a couple and Vimbikai said "well I have already been telling people that you are my girlfriend." Catherine was caught by surprise and said “when were you planning on officially asking me haha?" August 23rd 2017 started the love of a lifetime and the pair have been inseparable ever since!
