The recommended attire for the evening is Black-tie optional. It is recommended that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or floor-length dress.
We hope that you can enjoy this moment with us camera-free, so please, no photos until our ceremony conclusion. Once the reception begins feel free to join in helping us capture the day!
We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible but, due to space constraints at our venue, we are regrettably unable to accommodate anyone other than those listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
A 40-person shuttle bus as well as a 30-person trolly will be leaving the Newport Marriott Hotel and Spa at 4:50 PM for Glen Manor House prior to the ceremony. A 24-person bus will bring guests from the Bristol Harbor Inn to Glen Manor House at 4:50 PM. The ceremony begins at 5:30 PM so if you are arranging travel separately, please account for traffic as this is the height of tourism season. During and after the reception, shuttle buses will bring guests back to the Bristol Harbor Inn and the Newport Marriott Hotel and Spa at 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Please be mindful of the bus you board to ensure it is destined for your hotel. If you choose to drive yourself, there is ample parking available at the venue. Should you need additional transportation, rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are available in this area.
The ceremony will take place in the garden so please be mindful with your choice of footwear! The remainder of the evening will take place indoors. We will take every care to ensure your comfort but as this venue is located on the water, it is recommended that you bring a light sweater to account for the breeze.
If you or a member of your party has an allergy or specific dietary need, please indicate this on your RSVP card so that we can ensure the proper accommodations are made!
Parking is complimentary for those attending the welcome party and/or the farewell brunch. Please note that parking costs will apply on Sunday as the event is not occurring at the hotel. Parking at the Bristol Harbor Inn has an associated fee.
