If you are only staying for a long weekend, you can book the wedding hotel provided for your whole stay. Things to do nearby would be Edaville Family Theme Park (more kid-oriented), Myles Standish State Park, or there are a few golf/disc golf courses.

Here is the hotel where we have blocked off rooms for both the night of the wedding and the night before. It should automatically fill in a specific code number and “vtw” once you select the dates you want to stay. There are also adjoining rooms and rooms with pull out couches available upon request. A shuttle will be at the Holiday Inn, leaving at 4:00pm to the ceremony & reception. The same shuttle will be available to take anyone back to the hotel at 10pm and 11pm.
