We're getting married!

Paige and Raj met freshman year of high school (Go Rams!) where they became quick friends. Not long after, Paige had a budding crush; she thought maybe Raj liked her too. Unfortunately, Raj had a crush on another girl and told his newest bestie Paige. But, always up for a challenge, she persisted. Or, Raj was a teenage boy and moved on quickly! After that it was high school dances, awkward family meetings, a brief break up (oops), and here we are 10 years later, getting married!

Like most things in their lives, Rover (the cutest puppy in the world) was at the center of the romantic proposal. Tina (Mother of the Bride) and Raj concocted a fake dog photoshoot for Scout (dog Brother of the Bride) and Rover to attend at a local park. Paige had an inkling that the proposal was coming soon (10 years is a long time to date!). But she had no clue it was coming that night, like, "three day old hair, jeans, and a t-shirt", no clue. Don't worry she made sure Rover was looking his best. On proposal day, Raj brought Paige and Rover to a park near Evanston for the "dog photo shoot". Raj surprised Paige and got down on one knee. He gave a very sweet speech asking Paige if she would be his wife with the most beautiful ring that he designed himself; including diamonds from her mom, grandma, and great grandma! Paige managed to only half listen, between tears and wanting to get her hands on that ring! Then, in another total surprise, Raj had set up a celebration with both their families. It was the most perfect August evening they will never forget.
