Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Most Convenient. About 75 miles from Walden (roughly 1.5 hours by car). Often easier to get rental cars and avoid driving through New York City. Good mix of domestic and international flights. Usually top recommendation for guests renting a car and driving directly to the Hudson Valley.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

Closest of the NYC airports to the Hudson Valley route. Excellent for domestic travelers. Can be less expensive than JFK for some routes. Traffic can be heavy, but the drive to Orange County is fairly straightforward once leaving the city.

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

Best International Option. Largest selection of international flights. About 84 miles from Walden (roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car without heavy traffic. 2+ with heavy traffic). Ideal for guests flying from overseas. Usually involves more city traffic than Newark - which is why it’s our least favorite.

Hampton Inn

This hotel is about 20 minutes to the ceremony and about 15 minutes from the reception. We have a limited amount of guests rooms at this hotel, but we were able to secure a courtesy block for these rooms. Please book by August 24, 2026 if you are interested. Thank you!

Less than 25 minutes from the reception. Only a 5 min walk from Beacon’s bustling Main Street and within a 5 minute drive to the Beacon Train Station that will take you directly to Grand Central.

This city is centrally located and has access to many areas. 10 minutes from the reception hall. It's also 10 minutes away from Beacon, 1 hour drive to NYC, many restaurants, and much more.

Sleeps 6, within 20 minutes from both ceremony and reception. Angry Orchard and other wineries and breweries are nearby. 25 minutes to Beacon where you can take a train straight to Grand Central.

Sleeps 6, within 25 minutes from both ceremony and reception. Within 30 minutes from New Paltz, NY - a vibrant college town in the Hudson Valley renowned for its stunning Shawangunk Ridge views, world-class rock climbing, rich history, and lively Main Street.
