Trinity College and the Book of Kells

Learn about the four hundred year history of Trinity College and visit the famed Book of Kells. Combination tickets for the thirty five minute tour with entrance to the Old Library and the Book of Kells may be purchased at the Authenticity Tours desk at the front gate of the campus. Tickets are 15 Euro per person.

It is located beside the visitor centre which houses interpretive displays on the 5,500 years of park and area history. The park is open to the public from sunrise to sunset, daily.

Erected in the early thirteenth century on the site of a Viking settlement, Dublin Castle served for centuries as the headquarters of English, and later British, administration in Ireland. In 1922, following Ireland’s independence, Dublin Castle was handed over to the new Irish government. The guided tour is about an hour long and well-worth the ticket price. It includes the State Apartments, the Viking Excavation, Chapel Royal and other exhibitions. Adult tickets are €12.00. Children's tickets are €6.00. Children under 12 enter for free.

The largest garden square in Dublin, St. Stephen's Green is a great place to relax after shopping on Grafton Street! The park has numerous monuments scattered throughout, a waterfall, several gazebos, and often hosts art fairs and public concerts in the summer months. Be sure to stop into the iconic iron and glass building that houses Stephen's Green Shopping Center. It is located just across the street from the park at the top of Grafton Street.
