Question

HELP! I have a question that is not answered by FAQ's below or need to get in contact with the bride or groom.

Answer

We're more than happy to help our guests in any ways we can. The bride can be reached by cell at (804) 920-5514. The groom can be reached by cell at (804) 839-2206.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The wedding is on the picturesque yard of the bed and breakfast, but the rain plan is to hold the ceremony either on the covered porch (space permitting) or the parlor of the bed and breakfast (covid restrictions permitting).

Question

What are the covid guidelines for the area where the wedding is being held?

Answer

The wedding is being held in Orange, VA. See the Virginia.gov website (https://www.virginia.gov/coronavirus/forwardvirginia/faq/?1) for current restrictions. The ceremony would fall under "Religious Services" guidelines and the reception would fall under "Gatherings" guidelines.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Digital RSVPs were sent out via text on April 24th, 2021. If you have not received the RSVP invite, then contact the bride or groom. Please RSVP by June 18th, 2021.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

See our registry page of this website. We will be continually updating our registry. Currently, we are registered at Zola and Amazon, but may be adding more registry locations.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is business casual. By most wedding websites standards, this falls under the term casual, smart casual, dressy casual, and daytime dress codes. See this article from brides.com that explains the different dress code definitions for weddings (https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained). If you have specific questions, please directly contact the bride or groom.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The ability to bring dates highly depends on the covid restrictions in place. We would love it if everyone could bring a plus one, but that may not be possible. By May, we will give a formal announcement to all guests if wedding will be allowing plus ones. At that time, we will ask for guests to inform us if they will or will not be bringing someone with them so that we can finalize the catering head count.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please reach out to the bride and groom and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. We will work with the caterer to make sure there is food for you to enjoy at the reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking. Ceremony and reception are at the same location.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no organized transportation to the ceremony. There is limited availability of Lyft and Uber in the area. Please contact the bride or groom it you need assistance organizing transportation.
