We are registered at Amazon, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond. We also have a honeymoon fund available as well. More information can be found on our "Registry" page.
We are asking guests to dress semi-formal/cocktail attire. We want you to dress your best. Ladies should wear cocktail or floor-length dresses and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. We do ask that guest avoid wearing the colors white and gold since the bride will be in white and her bridesmaids will be in gold. The outside of the venue does have gravel roads so guest may want to plan their foot wear accordingly.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and we hope you can still enjoy our big day without your date.
We love your kids—we really do. But we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. If your children are not specified on your invitation or through our online RSVPs we hope you will be able to take the evening off and celebrate with us without your children.
We hope you're looking forward to a big Texas BBQ for dinner. The menu will include brisket, chicken, pinto beans, potatoes, corn, homemade bread, and a salad bar. Later on we will enjoy cake for desert!
We will have a plenty of non-alcoholic beverages along with a limited bar with beer and wine. Out of respect for guests who do not drink we will be opening the bar after directly after cake cutting and before our dance floor opens. This means that only non-alcoholic drinks will be available during dinner. If you do choose to partake in either the beer or wine we kindly ask you to be respectful of other guests and know your limits. We want everyone to have a great time, but at the end of the night we want everyone to get home safely.
Our venue is in the country so there is plenty of room for parking. With that said the parking area includes grass and gravel. We will reserve a few spots towards the entrance for our guests who need accessible parking.
At this time we do not have a hotel block for guests. Since our wedding venue is in Aquilla, TX the closest town with plenty of hotel and entertainment options will be Waco, TX. Hillsboro, TX is another great option. It's not as large as Waco but also has hotels for accommodations. Both towns are about 30 minutes from the wedding venue.
We are trying our best to stay up to date with the lates CDC information about the current COVID-19 pandemic. We strongly encourage all guests who are able to get vaccinated to do so. It is our priority to make sure all guests are safe and healthy. For this reason we greatly appreciate guest who are tested prior to celebrating with us and stay home if they are feeling unwell. We are looking into options for those who might need to celebrate from afar. Check our website for any updates regarding the pandemic.
