FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time! Please send in your RSVPs by August 20th.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 20th, 2025. Our vendors require us to provide the final headcount by this date, and any unanswered RSVPs will be counted as a “No.” Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests that are formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Little guests are welcome (if needed!) While our celebration will be geared toward adults, we completely understand that finding childcare isn’t always easy. If you’re unable to secure a babysitter, please feel free to bring your little ones—we’d love to celebrate with the whole family! We just ask that you please keep an eye on the little ones to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Question

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that once the ceremony begins all phones and cameras be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will share with you! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, there is! Reservations need to be made by July 14th, but you can find it under the travel tab on our website.

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Amazon and Target. You can find our registry details on the “Registry” section of our website.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see all of our friends and family dressed up for our big day! No particular dress code. Dresses below the knee or dressy jumpsuits and men’s button-ups and pants are best. Please no jeans, shorts, or white attire.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Nope! Both our ceremony and our reception will be indoors with AC, so no need to worry about rain or heat.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, the Newman Center has a parking lot in front as well as a gravel lot connected to that. If that fills up, street parking is allowed! For the reception, Amor on the River has a large gravel lot to the side of the building that should accommodate everyone. But please leave space for the caterer to make it to the back of the building!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

While we won’t have a full open bar, we will be providing wine and beer for our guests to enjoy throughout the reception. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to raise a glass with you!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony venue no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony.

Question

When will dinner be served?

Answer

Dinner will be served at 5:15 pm!

Question

When should I arrive at the reception?

Answer
