Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 7th.

Question

What will the weather be like in Detroit?

Answer

In early June, Detroit tends to have highs in the mid/high 70s and lows in the mid/high 50s.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Friday night Welcome Party at Union Assembly is indoors with an outdoor terrace. The Saturday wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing at the Whitney is outdoors in the garden. The reception dinner at the Whitney is indoors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Welcome Party on Friday night will be cocktail attire. The Wedding Ceremony & Reception on Saturday will be formal, black tie optional. Think long dresses and suits or tuxes. The Wedding Party will be wearing light pink dresses and black tuxedos.

Question

Is there parking for the Welcome Party and Wedding Ceremony / Reception?

Answer

At the Friday night Welcome Party at Union Assembly, we recommend taking an uber/lyft or walking (5-10 minute walk depending on which hotel you are staying at). If you choose to drive, parking may be difficult due to the Detroit Tigers game across the street, but there are many nearby parking garages and lots. At the Saturday wedding ceremony and reception at the Whitney, we recommend taking an uber/lyft, but there will be complementary valet parking available.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones during the wedding?

Answer

Please no photos or cell phones during the ceremony. Otherwise, photos are welcome!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Apologies, no plus one's unless noted online when you RSVP. This is a small venue and we have a max capacity that we are allowed to have onsite.
