Our fairytale began with the most unique and fortunate of circumstances.... It all started one early October morning; I was leaving a friend's house heading home when my day appeared to take a most unfortunate turn. My car got a flat. Little did I know this aggravating and seemingly abhorrent start of my day was to become the first steppingstone to the rest of my life. Not being one to complain I quickly went to work pulling out the spare and removing the flat. I was in the midst of jumping on the tire iron to break free the lug nuts when over my shoulder I hear. “You want me to do that” Behind me stood a tall, rugged, good looking man, so I quickly responded with the upmost enthusiasm, “suuure!!”. You guessed it that chivalrous stranger was none other than my fiancé to be, Bradley Janke. Whilst mounting my spare he began chatting me up, even wrongfully stating that his Texas A&M Aggies are “far superior” to my beloved Red Raiders. After his task was completed he dusted himself off and started on his way. Not wanting to miss out on the opportunity I stopped him and offered to buy him a drink. It wasn’t until months later that I found out that he hadn’t stop for me on the first pass but instead had decided to turn around after seeing in his words “a hot chick on the side of the road.” Since then we have been on road trips, and plane rides across the country and each day I’ve found myself falling in love with him more. In that time we have had our fair share of bumps in the road, but through it all we like to remember that God has a plan for us all and sometimes what starts as a disaster can end with a happily ever after. That being said we are delighted to invite you to join in celebrating ours. We look forward to seeing everyone on March 7th, our wedding day!!
