Met - 10.13.21 Dating - 12.03.21 Engaged - 11.25.23 Married - 10.18.24 Devon and Shelby have been dating for 2.5 years and met through mutual friends (shoutout to Kayla & Emily). It started with a group date and they have been with each other pretty much every day since! They both started new jobs in Amelia Island and moved there, adopted their puppy Cali from the humane society, and quickly realized that is where they wanted to put down roots. This past summer they had the privilege of buying their first home in Callahan. They love traveling together, outdoor activities like ATV-riding, and spending time in their new home watching their favorite shows with their pup. Cali is now 2 years old, they have been remodeling their home and making it their own, and now preparing to walk down the aisle and say yes to forever with each other. They are so excited to be able to share this day with their closest friends and family.

Since they have been dating, Devon and Shelby have always taken a trip to celebrate their anniversary. This past year they visited Asheville, NC for the first time. They rented a house with a deck overlooking the most beautiful mountain view. Once they arrived at the house they quickly unloaded their bags and went out to enjoy the scenery. Shelby set her phone up to take some pictures and little did she know Devon had already hidden his phone and set it to video while Shelby was inside looking at the house. Afterwards, Devon shared that he had to keep moving in front of it so Shelby would not see it and suspect something. Looking back Shelby was wondering why he was pacing and kept telling him to come stand with her to get a picture, lol. While Shelby was walking out to look at the view, Devon was following behind and as Shelby turned around he was already on one knee. He asked, and she said yes. It was perfect.
