Welcome to our Forever

After a busy workday, Sandy found herself preparing a Leadership event at her church. That Monday evening, Chris would attend that same event. That day would go on to become the first day that Chris saw her. From that moment on, he was captivated by her beauty and essence. Two weeks later, on August 21st, 2019, after countless text messages and phone calls, they went on their first date. Their first date consisted of the Cheesecake Factory, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, and the Venice Canals, a perfect date (at least according to Chris lol). After countless dates, special moments, and conversations, both fell in love with their essence. As they built their relationship, they both discovered that love went beyond the butterflies in the stomach, beyond the dates and aromatic moments. They discovered that love was a choice through the highs and lows. While they didn’t always get it right, they continued to choose each other. After 3 years of dating, on an April evening in 2022, Chris got on one knee in front of the Malibu waves, one of Sandy’s favorite places. On June 4th of 2023, you will see the culmination of this season in their relationship and the beginning of their new journey in marriage.
