FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Please join us in your best black tie attire, no causal attire. Men are to wear a suit or tuxedo. Women are to wear an evening gown or formal cocktail dress.

Question

Are there any colors to avoid wearing?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing gold and champagne colors, so please refrain from wearing gold or champagne, or a similar color, as we wish for our bridal party to stand out. In addition to this, please do not wear white, ivory, cream, or a similar shade.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us. However, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you’d like after the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we’re keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

When & where will the celebration take place?

Answer

The wedding will take place on Sunday, September 6th 2026. Both our ceremony and reception will be held in Toronto, Canada at Casa Loma. Ceremony and Reception details can be found on the “Schedule” page.

Question

Are you signed up with a wedding registry service?

Answer

Your love and well-wishes are the most important gifts of all. If you would like to contribute in another way, a monetary gift will help us as we plan for our future together.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors. The reception will be held outside underneath the glass pavilion.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Arriving to the venue 20 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you’re able to find the venue, park and get settled in before it starts.

Question

If I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Toronto has an abundance of hotels & airbnbs to choose from! We recommend staying downtown and using a Uber/Lyft to get back and forth from the wedding to your hotel.

Question

How do I rsvp?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the “RSVP” page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than July 1st. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are not doing a hotel block. Please feel free to stay where is most affordable and appropriate for you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely- reach out to the bride or groom with any allergy-related concerns/requests.
