We would like to thank Bumble, the online dating app, for introducing us. After matching on Bumble in September, 2020 we exchanged phone numbers the night before the Bengals vs. Browns game. Some playful banter, which has since turned into serious trash talk, led to a first date on September 25, 2020. For our first date, we met at Shady Grove Putt-Putt in Findlay followed by beers and burgers at Findlay Brew Co. Since that day, we have been practically inseparable. Our relationship grew over the next 8 months, meeting each other's family and friends. We decided to take our relationship to the next level in May, 2021 by moving into our first apartment in Findlay. 2021 - was a year of commuting to work for Josh, Kelsie finishing her Master’s internship, and many shared trips for friends’ weddings. In May, 2022 we moved to Toledo where Kelsie got a job at Rossford Schools and Josh continued to teach at Toledo Public Schools. 2022 - we went to our first Browns/Bengals game in Cleveland, took our first big vacation with Josh’s family to Florida, and celebrated new babies and more weddings. 2023 - we’ve enjoyed a somewhat slower year, celebrating more babies and weddings… On October 21, 2023 during our annual Halloween Party Josh got down on one knee and asked Kelsie to marry him, even though we’ve been together 3 short years, it feels like forever and many have said FINALLY.
