AcropolisAcropolis
Of course the one and only Acropolis, home of the beautiful Parthenon! The Parthenon is a temple dedicated to the ancient goddess Athena, of which the city of Athens got its name. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, drink lots of water, and try to visit the historic site as early in the morning as possible to avoid the summer heat. Be sure to also visit the Acropolis museum located at the base of the hill.

PlakaPlaka
Plaka is known for its charming and picturesque streets and proximity to the Acropolis. There are multiple traditional tavernas, shops selling local crafts, as well as views of ancient sites. Enjoy wandering the narrow streets, and discovering hidden gems. Plaka is located a few blocks from Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square.

A delicious authentic greek restaurant in one of our favorite towns of Glyfada! Be sure to come on an empty stomach. There are numerous shops, cafeterias, and restaurants within walking distance of one another in this area of Glyfada, so be sure to wear your walking shoes to explore!

Lake Vouliagmeni is known for its mineral-rich warm waters on the Athenian Riviera! Visitors can swim in the clear waters, as well as enjoy the hot spring baths the lake has to offer. There is a path above the lake perfect for hiking with views of the coastline.

An "all day" cafe/restaraunt by the sea of Alimos. Nalu is a beautiful place to watch the sunset, grab lunch, or enjoy a late night cocktail on the beach. If you wish to continue the party, the club Akanthus, is located right next door!

A beautiful historic site just a 30 minute drive from Pyrgos Melissourgou! For our family and friends who love to immerse themselves in the ancient ruins that Athens has to offer, this is a must see! There is a restaurant "Naos Cafe-Restaraunt" located at the site that offers Greek food with fantastic views of the ancient ruins and Aegean Sea!
