Cody and Bree met during the pandemic in August 2020. They both started showing up at Prestoncrest Church of Christ where lots of young adults were meeting – craving human interaction. They started a slow friendship and realized they had lots of mutual friends, some of who even wanted to set them up! Bree pointed out to Cody that they had previously matched and chatted briefly on a dating app, but never went out. God knew it wasn’t time just yet ;) On Dec. 11, 2020, Cody and Bree had their first date, which involved their love of food & Christmas. After several months of dating, Cody and Bree both knew this relationship was special and one that could last a lifetime. On Oct. 24, 2021, Cody popped the question at the Dallas Arboretum, which is a special place they enjoy going to, and Bree said YES! Cody and Bree are so excited to start this new chapter of their lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in September!
