Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Garden Party. We ask that you wear semi-formal attire, no jeans. Think midi to long flowy dresses, jumpsuits, and suits/jackets of any color. For those in heels, we recommend wedges or block heels for your comfort.

Is the ceremony and cocktail hour outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, that is the plan! The ceremony will (hopefully!) be outside, and the cocktail hour will flow between inside and outside.

Will transportation to the wedding venue be provided?

Answer

Yes. Transportation will be provided from the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn to the Boothbay Playhouse, and back at 10:15 PM after the reception ends. Anyone who wants transportation is welcome to use it, regardless of where they are staying in town. There will be 3 big yellow school buses to jump aboard. Please see the bus schedule below, and don't be late! 3:10 PM - Buses depart Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn 10:10 PM - Buses depart Boothbay Playhouse, heading back to the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn Mine Oyster, the afterparty bar, is walkable from the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn, right across the footbridge!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. If you are going to leave your car overnight, Boothbay Playhouse kindly asks that it is picked up by 9am the following morning.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue size limitations, we are unable to accommodate those who are not listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Do I need to let you know what my dinner choice is?

Answer

No! We are serving a family-style, sit-down dinner. There will be chicken and steak options available at every table, along with side dishes. A vegetarian option will be available upon request (please reach out to Stephen or Dayna!)
