Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite places to eat and drink with you. This city seriously has it's food game on lock. It's almost impossible to have a bad meal but we tried to narrow down a list of our very favorites! I also added some of our favorite museums, things to do and places to shop around the city!

Molly's Rise and Shine

2368 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

100% our favorite breakfast place. Don’t sleep on the carrot yogurt if you are yogurt and granola people it’s wild. We also love the biscuits and gravy!

N7

1117 Montegut Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

A French Japanese chef meaning seriously mouth-watering food. This spot has the cutest garden like ever. The food smacks and the wine game is seriously on point.

Sylvain

625 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

French quarter gem. Excellent food and drinks in a cool old building.

Jewel of the South

1026 Saint Louis Street, New Orleans, LA 70112

This place is amazing. Food and cocktails are some of the best in the city and its conveniently located within the French Quarter. Also has my favorite wallpaper :).

Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

600 Poland Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117

Awesome wine spot in the Bywater with live music outside. They also have great food and they sell bottles of wine to drink in the yard. You can buy cheeses and meats and they make you a little platter!

The Elysian Bar

2317 Burgundy Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

Excellent food and drinks. BEAUTIFUL space. Also great pastry chef if you can save room for desert. Located within the hotel where the wedding is taking place which is awesome.

Bar Marilou

544 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

The most impeccably designed bar you will ever visit. Cocktails and snacks are also fantastic. Do not sleep on the potato caviar bites they are absolute heaven! They also have a secret bar within the bar through a bookcase.

Levee Baking Co.

3138 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70115

Very yummy pastries and good coffee. They also have sandwiches and savory things sometimes but they sell out fast.

The National WWII Museum

945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Very interesting and comprehensive museum. Great for history lovers!

Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden

1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LA 70124

Beautiful sculpture garden in City Park next to the New Orleans Museum of Modern art.

New Orleans Museum of Art

1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LA 70124

Wonderful art museum located within the magnificent City Park.

Audubon Park

6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70118

Lovely park that we used to live next to. There is a really pretty walking trail along the park and a golf course for those who golf. The zoo is also located in this park and its a very cool zoo.

Ogden Museum of Southern Art

925 Camp Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Excellent art museum located near the French Quarter

Preservation Hall

726 Saint Peter, New Orleans, LA 70116

Wonderful jazz performance hall in the French Quarter. All proceeds from your tickets go to keeping jazz alive.

Magazine Street

Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA

A really great street to shop at local stores. Some of our favorites include: Century Girl Vintage, Sunday Shop, Saint Claude Social Club, the Good Shop, and Defend New Orleans.

For all the days along the way
