There are many factors that go into pricing, e.g. how many people, where you stay, how long you stay. Below is a list of things to consider: -US passports: $150 - A roundtrip flight to Greece from the States varies depending on where you fly from and when you book the flight, your airline, connecting flights, etc. Expect anywhere from: $900-$2500 (Adam & I flew roundtrip from Cleveland- Athens on United for $1,500 each in 2025- this included checked bags). - Flights from Athens to Chios will cost around: $125-$200 -Hotels and Airbnb's can be anywhere from $50-$300 a night depending on where you stay and with how many people. -An average meal in Greece costs around 15-20 Euros per person. (You will have to pay for bottled water when dining out!) We definitely saved money by getting snacks, drinks, breakfasts, and light lunches from the super market. -Certain food items are price regulated at the airport (in Athens). A bottle of water is less than $1. -Taxi's to and from the Athens airport from the Plaka are around 50-75 euros
Our wedding is on the island of Chios. The Chios Island Airport is: JKH- Chios Island National Airport For U.S. travelers: When coming from U.S. or another country, you will first fly into Athens airport (ATH- Eleftherios Venizelos). From there, you will then fly into the Chios Island Airport (JKH).
Adam and I will be leaving the states Monday, July 20th and arrive in Athens on Tuesday, July 21st. We fly to Chios from Athens on Thursday, July 23rd. You are welcome to travel at the same time as us! You can also leave a little later in the week: We recommend leaving the states by Thursday, July 23nd and getting to Chios by Friday, July 24th (the day before the wedding).
No dress code! It will be hot, so we suggest linen and flowy dresses!
If your invitation includes a plus-one, they will be listed on your invite.
Nope! You are welcome to come to just Ohio, just Greece, or both!
