FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a black-tie wedding—this means floor-length dresses and suits. I know you may be eying that bright pink gown in your closet, but we ask that you keep colors subdued.

Question

When is the reception?

Answer

The reception will start shortly after the ceremony concludes, but we will need time to rearrange the room so everyone has a place to sit—but don't worry! We will have snacks and cocktails for you to tide you over in the meantime.

Question

When do I need to arrive?

Answer

The wedding starts at 4:00 pm, but we ask all guests to plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to account for possible traffic! No one wants to be late to a wedding...

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We are having Skorpian Grill cater our wedding...it's going to be delicious!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love you and your kiddos, we are keeping this special event child-free (except Lauren's younger brother). Take this opportunity to hire a babysitter and spend some quality time with your spouse (we know these opportunities don't happen often).

Question

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

Unless specifically advised otherwise, we are not having plus-ones at our wedding. This is due to restrictions on the seating and space available.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you are able to or unable to attend as soon as possible...and no later than September 25th.

Question

Can I bring my own drink?

Answer

No outside drinks, specifically alcoholic beverages, are allowed due to venue restrictions and insurance protection. We do not want to disrespect our beautiful venue...or violate our venue insurance.

Question

What kind of music will you play?

Answer

Each segment of our wedding will have specifically curated songs and playlists to set a unique "vibe" for each portion. Cocktail hour will be older jazz love songs handpicked by yours truly (Lauren, not Noah...). The Reception will begin with some classic (90s) R&B hits to hype you up, but not too much...yet. The Reception will then switch to dancing music—now Noah is from SoCal and Lauren is from New York, so these songs may be a little different than what y'all are used to at weddings.

Question

Ummmmm...I have a question?

Answer

If you have a question that is not answered here, feel free to reach out to Lauren! But please (I beg you) ask your questions now, not later!
