Once upon a time, a small town girl ventured to the Big Apple to enhance her learning. While she was in the magical city, she met a Jersey boy in her Physical Therapy program. They were friends first, but after roommate- prompted Central Park study sessions together and friends encouraging this friendship to become something more, the Jersey boy found the courage to ask her out. However his timing was less than ideal. He asked her out the day before leaving for a summer internship where she would be in Washington DC. So their date was delayed... three months. Once back in NYC, he planned a perfect date- dinner at a wine and chocolate bar in SoHo. She was less than graceful that evening- knocking her plate off the table, falling in the streets of New York, and banging her head off of the subway window. Despite her awkwardness, they had the best of times and went out again. They spent that final didactic semester in New York row boating in Central Park, enjoying Smorgasburg, and ice-skating. Then they ventured to opposite ends of the country for their final internships- Matt in Virginia Beach and Megan in Los Angeles. Once internships were finished, Matt flew to California and began a cross country road trip with Megan, exploring Antelope Canyon, Zion National Park, Denver, Chicago, and more. They made it back to NYC just in time to receive their diplomas. Later that year, they made the big leap to California where they currently reside. They have had many adventures together- hiking mountains, stand up paddleboarding, exploring everything the West Coast has to offer. In the fall of 2017, they went to Banff, Canada to hike and explore. On October 1, they began a special hike at Lake O'Hara . It was snowing that day as they began their hike, but once they made it to the top the sun came out. As they were overlooking the lake from the highest point, Matt got down on one knee and asked Megan to join him on the greatest adventure yet. As you all know, she said yes.
