What does a Traditional Latin Mass wedding ceremony look like?

Answer

Our vows will be at the very beginning of the ceremony before mass, so that participation in the mass is the first thing we do as a married couple. Our ceremony will be slightly longer, and you may find it more contemplative, with the mass portion done mostly in Latin. What should I wear?

Answer

Classy/summer-y is what we're going for! Suits or sport coats and slacks for guys, nice dresses or jumpsuits for girls. Wear something that makes you feel happy! The bridal party colour is a pale yellow, so please avoid this colour dress if you can. As Catholics, we believe that the chapel is a sacred and holy space where we are in the presence of God, so for the ceremony we ask that you dress with the solemnity of this in mind.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the ceremony starts (2pm) so that we can begin on time. We are so looking forward to have you with us to celebrate our big day, and want you to be able to fully be present at every moment!
