Disneyland Resort is fun for all ages! There are two parks that require separate admission (unless you buy a Park-Hopper ticket): Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Disneyland has all the classic rides: Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and as of this summer, Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Disney's California Adventure is across the courtyard from Disneyland and has rides like Soarin', Grizzly River Run Rapids, Guardian's of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout (formerly Tower of Terror), Cars Land, and Pixar Pier. The incredible nighttime show World of Color is also here every night. If you are interested in visiting one or both of the Disney parks, we recommend purchasing tickets from the "Buy Tickets" section of this link https://www.mydisneygroup.com/idvk19a to get a discounted rate on multiple-day tickets.
Huntington Beach is one of the closet beaches, about 25 minutes from Disneyland. This beach (a.k.a Surf City U.S.A) has a nice Main Street with restaurants and shops and a famous pier that will give you a great view of the ocean. If you are brave enough to test the waters in November, this beach has beautiful sand and lots of safe places to swim. Newport Beach is about 30 minutes from Disneyland and is known as the Luxury Beach. You will have no trouble finding fine dining and high-end shopping here. Newport also has Balboa Island which is great for kids. This small, carnival-like island has a ferris wheel and you get to ride on a ferry to get to there! Laguna Beach is about 35 minutes from Disneyland and is known for being an art hub. The downtown area has tons of art galleries and shops as well as some great restaurants. Main Beach has tide pools, beautiful sand, and some amazing pathways lining the beach that you will definitely want to take a walk on.
Downtown Disney is on the Disneyland Resort property and has many restaurants and shops for your enjoyment. Garden Walk is 1 mile down the road from Disneyland and has several other restaurant and entertainment options including House of Blues, AMC movie theatre, and 300 Bowling.
