Jordan and Becca met at Crescenta Valley High School (CV as the locals call it) in 2011. Jordan played football and was the lead in multiple school musicals. Becca was a girl who split her time between volleyball practice and extracurricular drama activities. It was the couple's mutual interest in theater that brought them together for the first time in a 5th period advanced drama class. One of Becca's fondest memories of Jordan in high school was watching him perform as Sweeney Todd in the musical (you guessed it) Sweeney Todd. Another fond memory is the time Jordan asked Becca for a ride home after school while Becca wasn't legally allowed to drive other people yet. Becca obviously said yes (sorry, Mom) because she thought Jordan was cute. High school would continue with the occasional chance interaction, like when Becca and Maid of Honor Sarah ended up at Jordan's house after school with Best Man Michael. It was here the boys proceeded to show the girls a very obscure Australian comedy TV series called "Summer Heights High," something all of them still quote to this day. Becca and Jordan went their separate ways post-high school - Jordan into the Marines and Becca to study public relations at Chapman University. Post-Marines and college, Becca attended a musical at CV with Sarah to support the costume designer of their friend group and bridesmaid, Kaja. Afterwards, Becca, Kaja and Sarah had planned to go to their favorite local watering hole, Basin 141. Kaja decided to invite Jordan to join in on the festivities that night since she knew he was back in town. At the show, Becca was sitting in the balcony of her old high school theater and looked down to the bottom floor to see Jordan for the first time in years. She whispered to Sarah, "Wow, I'm still attracted to Jordan Van Treese." Afterwards, the four CV alumni all went to Basin 141, where Jordan swears Becca made the first move, and the rest is history!
