Who would have thought that the day I was at my brand new school seeing my classroom for the first time ever, I would meet a cute guy waiting for his interview in the front office. I had just been hired at Lemon Road in 2016 as a second grade teacher. Harry was on the job hunt in hopes of securing his first position as a P.E. teacher. Well, our principal at the time asked Harry if he would mind waiting while he showed my mom and me around the school. Of course Harry said no, and waited patiently in the office while I got a tour of our new school. (Who knew that would be the first (of many) times Harry would put my needs before his!) We made it back from the tour, and I vividly remember our principal introducing us and saying "Well, if his interview goes well, you will be working together. If not, you may never see him again!" As soon as my mom and I walked out of the school, I told her how cute I thought he was. lol! Thankfully, Harry crushed his interview (naturally) and we began our teaching careers together at Lemon Road Elementary. We were immediately drawn to each other, and I think Harry was in my classroom any opportunity he could find. It wasn't long before we went on our first date and were soon spending every day together. The rest is history, and we will forever be thankful for Lemon Road for bringing us into each other's lives.
