In addition to exploring the golden triangle and Point State Park, you can cross the Allegheny on one of the 3 sisters bridges to walk along the North Shore trail. Explore the sports stadiums, restaurants, and beautiful views of the rivers and city. Cross the Monongahela River on the Smithfield Street Bridge to explore the Grand Concourse and Station Square shops - and to catch the Incline to the top of Mt Washington (sit in the lowest level of the car for the best views). Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar Strip District

46 18th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

One of our personal favorites - this is a great place to grab a fantastic lunch! It all started during the Great Depression - with Joe Primanti operating a small sandwich cart in Pittsburgh's now-historic Strip District, an area that even in 1933 was a bustling hub of activity. Strong sales allowed Joe to open a storefront that year - feeding hungry truck drivers and shift workers at all hours of the day. Now a Pittsburgh famous establishment these are sandwiches you don't want to miss out on!

Wigle Whiskey (pronounced "wiggle") is an artisan small batch whiskey distillery in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Wigle was named for Phillip Wigle one of the leaders of the 1791 Whiskey Rebellion. Wigle Whiskeys are the flagship products of the Pittsburgh Distilling Company, LLC, which is entirely family owned and operated. Wigle began operations in 2011, and opened its doors to the public in March 2012. At that time, only two other distilleries existed in the rest of Pennsylvania. The founders of Wigle Whiskey were instrumental to the passage of Pennsylvania House Bill 242 in December 2011, establishing a new distillery license allowing craft distilleries to sell their own products onsite, which led to the growth of craft distilleries in Pennsylvania.
