Harry and his wife Vonnie are friends of The Van Meeterens. They have been amazing mentors throughout Ryans life and they are like family to him. Their relationship is a phenomenal example of what it means to keep the Lord at the center of our life and marriage. Harry has been asked to officiate the wedding because of the huge impact this couple has made on us, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them be apart of this special day.

Izi has been my best friend for about 6 years now. We met while working at Valley Child Care in 2018 and have been inseparable ever since. Some of my favorite memories with her are my first college party, working out together, our long days studying/laughing at GCBC, and all of our sleepovers even though she is scared of me and my "sleeping conditions". Izi is always there for me no matter what and she is the sweetest friend a girl could ask for.
Dylan Van Meeteren
Best Man
Dylan is my little brother, we are 4 years apart in age but growing up with him it almost felt like he was the older brother and I was the little brother. That isn't just because I get a kink in my neck just trying to look him in the eye. It's because I've learned so much by being there for each other throughout life, giving each other advice, and growing up into the men we are today. My favorite memories with Dylan will always be going home from college over the summer and spending time on the baseball field together. Watching him grow and perform at a high level both on and off the field is what every older brother dreams of. I couldn't be more proud to have Dylan stand next to me on our wedding day.
Kelsey Katich

Kelsey is my older cousin! My favorite memories together are making up dances to Shakira at our grandmas, spending time with her and her husband George, and watching her become such a good mom to baby Maverick. Kels is someone you can trust with anything; she always knows what to say and gives the best advice. I got the privilege of being apart of her wedding day and now she gets to be apart of mine.
Casey Harrell

Casey is my co-best man. Casey and I have a long history as best friends...he's truly like a brother from another mother. We always grew up going to different schools but we went to the same church where our parents worked together. Casey has always been the guy I can lean on through good times and bad. He's been there through all of my best and most influential moments in life and I wouldn't have it any other way. From playing pool-sket-ball in his back yard as kids, to sharing the same dorms and apartments in our young adult years Casey has always been there. There's no way he wouldn't be standing next to me on another one of the best and most influential days of my life.
Makenna McClure

Makenna has been my very best friend since middle school. She has been by my side through every season and I couldn't be more thankful for her. Kenna is such an encouraging friend and has never let me give up on the things that I am passionate about. She always finds a way to stay positive, looks for the best in people, and always knows how to have a good time. Some of my favorite memories with her are Lake Powell, the summer we never left each others side, and living together our freshman year of college. I really don't know where I would be without this girl.
Will Whitaker

Will and I grew up together, went to same college together, and shared an apartment for about a year. Will is the kind of guy that always keeps the energy up and makes things fun. He always has a positive attitude and has been an awesome friend throughout the years. We have so many memories together that I can look back on and laugh about. He is someone that I admire in so many ways and I am so excited to have him as a groomsman and be a part of my wedding day.
Taylor Ayers

Taylor is one of those friends you meet when you're older and wonder where they have been all your life. I met this sweet friend at Brookline College in the middle of covid, and let me tell you she is the only thing that kept me sane during that time. My favorite memories with her are going out for my 21st birthday, graduating nursing school together, and watching each other fulfill our dreams as nurses. Taylor seriously has the sweetest heart and she is one of the most genuine people I have ever met.
Chris McCluskie
Groomsman
Chris and I met while working at a golf course. He traveled from the great white northern region of Canada to start a life out here in Arizona and I'm sure glad he did. Chris and I have only been friends for a couple of years but have a lifetime of memories. From just going out to bars or hitting the links, Chris has always been a guy I could count on to have a good time. He's hands down one of my best friends and like a brother from another mother. I know I can always count on him and he can always count on me. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without Chris up there with me.
Ashley Dalessandri

Ash is not only one of my closest friends but also the best hair stylist in the whole wide world. ;) Her and I first met in middle school and we have stayed close ever since. Some of my favorite memories together are choir trips, hiding in the weight room during P.E., living together our freshman year of college, and standing by her side while she married the love of her life Adam (we all knew you guys would get married eventually). Ashley is one of the most sweetest friends, she's always genuinely happy for everyone, and she's always down to have a good time.
Joey Halvorson

Joey and I met in college and quickly became close friends, practically brothers. We got into a bible study with some other friends where we dove deep into the word and grew a stronger friendship where we could lean on each other in faith. We led a small group through our local church where we poured into high school students and talked about stuff we both wished we could talk about at that age. I had the honor of being one of Joey's groomsmen on his wedding day and I couldn't be more excited to have him as one of mine. With all the memories we've made, I'm excited for this to be another one we can look back on.
Brooke Katich

Brooke is my younger cousin! My favorite memories with her are making up dances at our grandmas house, pretending to be sisters when we were younger, and standing by her side on her wedding day. Brooke has such a kind heart and she isn't afraid to be herself. Everyone that knows her loves her.
Bailey Smith

Bailey and I met in college and we quickly became brothers while working on the same RA staff. That year as RA's we played endless nights of pingpong in the lobby, went camping, participated in a bible study, and just grew closer together as the years of college came to a close. Bailey and his wife are two people I look up to and share so many memories with. His friendship has helped me grow in my faith and mature into who I am today. I was able to take part in his wedding as a groomsman, and I'm beyond excited to have him take on that role in our wedding too.
Daisy Hunt

Daisy is one of my little sisters! She is constantly told that she is my mini me but to be honest I think that she is the better version of me. I remember being so excited when my parents told me I was going to have another little sister. My favorite memories with Daisy are singing a duet with her at my senior choir concert, doing her makeup for her dance recitals (it's always last minute in the car), and laughing about stupid stuff with her. I'm lucky to have a sister like her and can't wait to have sleepovers with her all the time while Ryan is on shift ;) (sorry babe were havin girls night).

Lacey is one of my little sisters! She has the sweetest heart and loves other people so well. Lacey has one of the most contagious laughs and once you start laughing with her it's hard to stop. Lacey always gets so excited to see Ryan even when she just saw him five minutes prior, I don't blame her though because I do too. My favorite memories with her are planning her birthday parties (its her favorite time of year), getting her ready for school dances, and watching her horse lessons. I can't wait to have her over for sleepovers all the time too!
