Shortly after Jacob and I met, he told me the story of how he had accidentally touched the Auburn seal in front of Langdon Hall. For those of you who aren't Auburn fans, if a student steps on the Auburn seal, three curses befall them: 1. You'll have seven generations of Alabama fans in your family 2. You won't graduate on time 3. You won't meet your true love at Auburn That last one was, of course, Jacob's biggest worry. So when we found out that in the near future, the only way to break the curse was coming up, he jumped on it. So on February 29th, 2024 (just a month and a half after we met), Jacob made it his #1 priority to jump into the President's Fountain at midnight on the leap day of a leap year to break the curse. Clearly, it worked, and he ended up finding his true love at Auburn, because here we are!
