Howling Cow Ice Cream, is NC State's incredible ice cream. The milk and cream come directly from over 300 NC State cows on the university's farm in Raleigh, North Carolina and is produced on campus. While there, check out "The Quad" home to the Honors and Scholars Village where Molly and Thomas met.
With Thomas' love of gin, and Molly's love of sweet treats, many date nights start or end at Bittersweet. Bittersweet offers a seasonal and classic cocktail menu, with an emphasis on gin cocktails. They have over 80 different gins—many unique and rare in this state. They have a full coffee and espresso menu with beans from a local company in Durham, Counter Culture Coffee. There is also a full dessert menu, baked fresh daily by in-house pastry chefs.
With over 20 restaurants, Morgan Street Food Hall has options for anyone and everyone! At night, there is a "hidden" speakeasy, Aunt Betty's. If you can find it (it's not hard), you will find some wonderfully unique cocktails.
One hour south of Raleigh, you will find the happiest place on earth. Explore the charming shops in the Village at Pinehurst and the beautiful wildlife at Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature Preserve. Enjoy a meal at "The Deuce", on the porch, overlooking the 18th Green of Pinehurst #2, home to the site of more golf championships than any other course in America, including the 1991 and 2024 US Opens. And if you really want to treat yourself, indulge in serenity at the world-class Spa at Pinehurst.
