Hotel
We've reserved a block of 10 rooms at Graduate Seattle, in the U District! You can call to make a reservation and mention the Van Fossen Wedding, or you can use this link to book directly in our block (just make sure to put Van Fossen Wedding to get the group rate). The group rate per night is $279, and that rate is available for the night of 7/4 and 7/5. You can stay in the hotel for longer, but I'm assuming the rate will be different for any additional nights. You can make reservations any time before 6/4. Sandy or Leanna are the sales managers in charge. Note: You will need to Uber to the venue from here.

Flight
We recommend flying with Alaska. Most flights to and from Seattle are operated by Alaska and usually have the best prices, times, and options. But SeaTac is a huge airport and pretty much every airline flies here! Delta is also big here.
Train
Once you land at SeaTac, we recommend taking the Lite Rail into Seattle. It's free! It goes all the way to North Seattle, but you'll want to get off at any of the downtown stops depending on where you stay. From there, Uber & Lyft can go anywhere. If it's late at night, don't take the Lite Rail unless you want to make some special friends... Uber & Lyft can be pretty expensive to & from the airport at peak times, so if you're lost & confused, just call Zoë :)
Travel Note
While the Graduate scores highest for proximity + quality + affordability combined, there are tons of other options in the area. Proximity: Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle Center This hotel is directly across the street from the venue. The area is not the nicest but it is close to Seattle Center (Space Needle, EMP, etc.) Proximity: Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-Downtown This hotel is also across the street from the venue. Proximity: The Maxwell This hotel is very close to the venue, and has a higher rating than the previous two options. It's slightly more expensive, but the vibes are better. Quality: Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle This is where we got engaged! This is a fancy historic hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms right downtown. Pricey. Quality: Four Seasons Hotel Seattle This is probably the nicest hotel in Seattle... I'm not suggesting you spend $800 on a hotel room but you are free to make that choice! Quality: Hyatt Regency Seattle 4-star hotel right in the heart of downtown. Pricey. Affordability: I can't in good conscience recommend any of the cheap motels in the area. It's not a great area and they aren't actually cheap! If you're looking to save money, I'd recommend looking at vacation rentals instead of hotels, as there are more versatile options. Look for rentals in the Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard, U District, or Uptown neighborhoods if you want to stay closer to the venue. West Seattle is also a great option since the tunnel goes basically straight to the venue from the bridge, so the drive is short.
