Do I need any COVID test to enter Nicaragua?

Answer

No. As of July 21, 2023, the Nicaraguan government lifted all COVID-19 related travel restrictions. Travelers arriving in Nicaragua do not need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

How do I get around Nicaragua?

Answer

Getting around in Nicaragua can be quite easy. For all wedding related events we will provide transportation to and from our partner hotel: Hyatt Place https://www.zola.com/wedding/vanessayalberto/travel. If you want to see more of Nicaragua we recommend renting a car. We have wonderful roads and many places to explore including the beaches to the south of Granada, in Rivas. The Waze app works wonderfully here for directions.

Do I need to exchange money?

Answer

Most places in Nicaragua accept US Dollars as legal tender, however, if you pay in cash, you will probably get Cordobas in return. Most places that are in our recommended section accept all major credit cards.
