We're so excited to celebrate with you!

When Billy and I met it was by happenstance, and maybe a dash of fate. It was a normal morning like any other. I had gotten ready for work and was a little early, so I decided to stop for a pack of gum. Little did I know that gum would change my life. He was working his second job running a gas station and from what I'm told, couldn't take his eyes off me from the second I stepped in. In my normal fashion I was gloriously awkward, but despite my awkwardness we managed to have somewhat of a conversation. On our first date he took me to Dallas where we got coffee and went for a walk, and later to dinner. There was an arts festival of sorts going on and the atmosphere was lovely. We walked up to a mosaic mural and he loves to tell absolutely everyone that the first thing to come out of my mouth was, "that one's messed up". He's told me since that he knew he was in for trouble right then and there! When he took me back to my car we decided to talk a little while longer. That little while turned into 4 or 5 more hours. I can't remember specifically what all we talked about, but I do remember that there was much laughter and no shame. I realized then that I could talk to this man about anything. He's been my support system ever since. It would be an honor to have you join us on our wedding day to celebrate the life we've started together, and the life we're continuing together.
