On a cold November night, a lover of the Hunger Games book series and an apathetic movie-goer met at the midnight premiere of the Hunger Games' 3rd installment. And from there, the rest was history :)

Trevor: Let's go for a hike tomorrow. Vanessa: Okay! Let's see which ones allow dogs so we can take Peanut. *finds a dog-friendly hike* Vanessa: I found Pulgas Ridge hike, looks perfect and we have never done it before! (Next morning) Go on hike. Find 2 rose petals along hiking trail. Cue Vanessa, completely oblivious. Reach resting bench at top of hike. Find champagne and roses sprawled on bench. Cue Vanessa, still oblivious. Vanessa: Omg, we need to hurry, somebody's about to get proposed to! *Trevor drops to one knee and opens ring box* Cue Vanessa, she finally gets it :)
