This page is our gallery of love. We want to show you our love story from the beginning all the way through today. We met on Bumble on September 9th of 2022. I swiped right thinking, “handsome, great answers to the prompts, and doesn’t drink.” He swiped right thinking, “beautiful, sounds fun and smart, petite.” We matched instantly. On Bumble, the girl must message the guy first, so Todd saw a notification of us matching and thought to himself, “oh cool, it’s her! I hope she actually messages me.” She did and the first thing she said was, “So, do you really not drink?” From then on, they talked on the app, they started having 1 to 2 hour phone calls, then multiple FaceTimes where Todd was able to meet Bronco through video chat for the first time as Vanessa was pet-sitting Bronco, and finally to scheduling the first official date one month later. Todd drove to Vanessa’s apartment and picked her up for their first date to a local pumpkin patch. They’ve been in love ever since…

Text after their date: Vanessa writes, “we look cute together.” Todd responds, “We do” and adds, “I can’t tell you how many times yesterday I was thinking to myself ‘wow I’m really happy right now’.”

Our first family photo together! Vanessa celebrates Todd’s mom’s birthday. This was December 2022. What a lovely meal surrounded by wonderful people!

Our first home photoshoot together. Bronco and Todd began spending more time together. Bronco was only about 14 months old.

Raleigh, North Carolina trip 2023! Todd and Vanessa flew together for the first time and met up with the Quense siblings.

Since Bronco was on full recovery from his surgery, Vanessa and Todd took this as an opportunity to go to a cabin in the Poconos where Bronco would appreciate the snow. We went snow tubing too!

First Mother’s Day at the Shoenfield house!

Cape May is gorgeous! Todd and Vanessa traveled to Cape May, New Jersey with their favorite couple friends. On this trip, we became the “Fourmula of Friends.”

The Fourmula of Friends reunites and celebrates the marriage of Alyssa and Ryan! If you think you love Disney, you haven’t met Alyssa then, but you will soon enough. What a great night!

Another wedding in 2023! Todd and Vanessa attended Shannon and Eric’s wedding in Philadelphia, and celebrated their love. What a great time!

Wedding #3 in 2023! Todd’s brother Pete married the love of his life, Danie. The whole Shoenfield clan showed up to cheer, dance, and eat an abundance of great food. What a great night!

Our lovely Hilary had a tough year in 2024, but we celebrate her beating Ovarian Cancer! To support cancer research, Todd and Vanessa ran the 5K Cancer Shlep in Central Park, NY. It was very hot.

Todd surprises Vanessa on a quick trip to middle of nowhere North New Jersey. When Vanessa arrives, there’s a photographer waiting for them to take pictures.

Todd tells Vanessa they’re going on a hot air balloon ride! What a cool experience to stand inside a massive balloon!

SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!! Todd practiced a few nights before, Vanessa was crying so much, she forgot the beautiful speech Todd had just said, but what matters most…IT’S A YES!
