We're Getting Married!

Our story began online, where a little fate (and a few extra swipes) brought us together. Tatiana had to swipe right twice before Vanessa finally did, but once we met, we both knew there was something extraordinary between us. Vanessa’s first impression of Tatiana was her big heart and the unique way she approached life. From the very beginning, it was clear that Tatiana wasn’t like anyone else. During our very first coffee date, Tatiana picked up Vanessa’s book and started reading it, just to get a glimpse into her world and understand her interests better. That small gesture said so much about the kind of person Tatiana is. Tatiana’s first impression of Vanessa was that she was strong, determined, kind, and incredibly brave. Vanessa’s passion and the ideas she shared made Tatiana admire her even more. As we spent more time together, the moments that defined "the one" came naturally. For Tatiana, it was the ease of conversation and the happiness she felt connecting with Vanessa. For Vanessa, it was a vulnerable, hilarious moment—laughing so hard together that their stomachs hurt—when she knew that this was something truly special. Of course, our story wouldn’t be complete without some memorable quirks! On our second date, Tatiana thought she might be getting catfished when Vanessa casually realized she was turning 35 instead of 34, as Tatiana had originally thought. The realization hit Vanessa mid-date, leading to a full-on meltdown about “losing a year of life.” She even called her best friends, Xenia and Stephanie, to talk her through the crisis while Tatiana patiently stayed by her side. Over time, our relationship has been filled with love, laughter, and inside jokes. Whether it’s Tatiana’s accent or Vanessa’s playful habit of double-checking, “That’s how you spell it, right?”, these moments remind us how much fun life is when we’re together. We both knew early on that we wanted to propose to each other someday. On October 4th, 2024, Tatiana made the first move with a magical, semi-public proposal at the Redondo Beach Pier—the same place where we spent our first Valentine’s Day together. Then, just two weeks later, on October 19th, 2024, Vanessa surprised Tatiana with a full family proposal. It was everything Tatiana had dreamed of: her family front and center, watching Vanessa (in a dress and down on both knees!) ask Tatiana to be her forever date. This is just the beginning of our forever, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
