We are staying at Secrets. You are welcome to stay wherever you choose.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on our wedding website under the registry tab, however, presents are optional, and you are free to shop off the registry as well. We also accept Micheladas with Pacifico as presents as long as you drink one with us, and cheers to our future.

Please arrive 15 minutes early as to not disrupt the ceremony

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

What currency should I bring?

Answer

Bring Mexican Pesos to include mixed denominations for tip or change as not all stores accept large bills and/or the US dollar

Where can I get Mexican pesos?

Answer

Most major banks such as Wells Fargo sells pesos for the daily exchange rate by order only. You may order online, by telephone or at a local branch by appointment with a banker. Order at least 5-7 business in advance.

No need to pre-game because there will be an open bar.

Will there be a DJ?

Yes, dinner, drinks, cake, and snacks will be provided.

Warm & Humid Bring sun block (ocean friendly if you can find it)

What protective items would I need for the beach?

Answer

Bring a waterproof phone case if you have one, and/or a waterproof bag for items. Typically, you can find one for purchase at a local store.

What will I need related to Covid travel?

Answer

You will be required to fill out a Covid health questionnaire when you arrive & when you leave Mexico. Bring your own pen because it will make your process easier to fill out the declaration form that will be required. You will need a smart phone if you choose to fill out the health questionnaire online. Bring multiple masks in case you lose one. Bring sanitizer & disinfectant wipes for the plane.

Will the wedding venue be indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony will be outdoor only.

Will there be a photographer and/or Video?

Yes, there will be video recording & a photographer.

Will cell phones be allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

No, cell phones will not be allowed during the ceremony. Cell phones will be allowed during the reception only.

May I post photos pictures on social media?

Yes, you may post to social media, but we encourage you to use our wedding hash tag so that we can keep track of the photos. #HernandezEverAfter

Will I have cell phone service in Mexico?

Verizon offers free talk, text, data in Mexico under the unlimited plan. I suggest calling your network to find out if you have free phone access during your time in Mexico beforehand.

Is there someone available for hair & makeup?

Answer

For females: if anyone wants their hair & makeup done the day of the wedding please let Vanessa or Lily know by April 1st. Hair & makeup will be done by someone who our wedding planner suggested. She charges 150.00 for hair & makeup.
