Question

How will the day of work?

Answer

So the ceremony will start promptly at 12pm as we only have the location for 2 hours. If you are late you will need to attend the reception as we ask to not have the ceremony be interrupted. After our ceremony we will ask family for pictures. We ask our guests (family/friends) after the ceremony to head over to the reception area for more pictures, games, food, drinks, and cake! We will pray over the day, our marriage, and our meal that The Lord provides for us prior to starting the party. If you have more questions, please reach out to Vanessa and Ruben.

Is the reception and ceremony at the same place?

Answer

No, our ceremony is at the Glacier Point overlook in Yosemite National Park and the reception is at Chandelier Grove at the Cedar Point Lodge in El Portal near Yosemite. About a 25 minute drive from our ceremony.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

This is an intimate wedding, we ask that unless discussed with us you do not bring extra guests with you. As both our ceremony and reception have a limit to how many can attend. We appreciate you wanting to share our love with others.

What do I wear?

Answer

We stuck to a pretty easy color palette, we are doing black tie! So please wear your best outfits in black.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We recommend you stay near the park or near where either our reception or ceremony are. If you have questions or need recommendations you can reach out to Ruben or Vanessa.
