Yes! For the wedding ceremony and reception, the dress code is Black Tie Optional (for details on what that means, please see this helpful link: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698 ). We recommend tuxedo or suit and tie; floor length or cocktail length dresses. Please refrain from wearing white or bright, neon colors. Welcome Dinner will be Cocktail Attire dress ( https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 ). Lastly, for the Brunch and Sail the day after the wedding, we'll be more casual (luxury edition); channel your inner Kennedy/George Clooney and Amal sailing on Lake Como. Prepare for highs of around 60 during the day, dipping to around 50 in the evening. We recommend bringing layers for your stay in Lake Como: jackets and shawls for the evening of the wedding; knits and jackets for the boat ride the next day.
The ceremony will be outdoors. Aperitivo (cocktail hour) will be in the Villa. Dinner will be indoors and the reception will be open between the Villa and outdoors.
The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please. Dinner will be assigned seating so please look for your place card.
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 3pm, we recommend guests arrive between 2:15 and 2:45pm, so there is time to mingle and find a seat.
Yes, of course. Please reach out to Vanessa (vlbloom@gmail.com) with your food allergies/restrictions and we will be happy to make specifications for events' meals.
