January 22 - January 25: It is recommended to stay in Makaha, O'ahu which is on the West side of the island. Some other nearby towns you can stay at in the West side are Waianae and Kapolei. If you decide to stay in Honolulu, it will likely take you at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours (due to work day traffic) to arrive to Makaha (where the wedding will take place).
If you are arriving to O'ahu prior to January 22nd, it is recommended to find a place to stay in Honolulu (Ala Moana or Waikiki area). On January 22nd, Rafa and Vanessa will be leaving Honolulu and travelling to Makaha to prep for the wedding. You are welcome to come help us or feel free to take the day to explore the beautiful island of O'ahu!
Yes, if you don't plan on renting a car you may use uber, lyft or a taxi as a mode of transportation.
No, we did not set up a registry. We're fortunate to have everything we need in our home. Your presence at our wedding celebration is enough and means the world to us. If you still feel inclined to gift us something, we would be so grateful for a donation to a family trip in lieu of a honeymoon.
