The story began initially in 2019 when Nick and Vanessa decided to take the same prerequisite class at Bellevue College. Nick and Vanessa sat not too far from each other, but despite being so close, never actually talked (Nick was too focused on schoolwork). That all changed after a massive snowstorm, which caused them both to miss a quiz because of the weather. When the two came in to make up the quiz, fate finally stepped in. Nick asked Vanessa for a pencil, and what started as a simple moment turned into a conversation, laughter, and an unexpected connection. From that day on, the two became study partners until Nick asked Vanessa to be his girlfriend and eventually his wife in the summer of 2025. Come celebrate our love on August 1st, 2026!
