Little time before the wedding? Explore downtown Bloomington. Farmer's Market goes on 7am-12pm. Nick and Vanessa try to go at least once a month during the season
Bobzbay Books
One of our favorite book stores. Bobzbay Books is a LGBTQ+ woman-owned independent bookstore located in the Downtown area of Bloomington, IL. They have an array of new, used, and unique books. Vanessa especially has a soft spot for their "Blind date with a book" shelf.
Miller Park Zoo
Miller Park Zoo offers many habitats and interaction opportunities that are enjoyed by the whole family. Some of our favorite animals/exhibits include: the flamingos, river otters, thr red panda. The Zoo features many large indoor and outdoor habitats such as a Tropical America Rainforest, ZooLab, Katthoefer Animal Building, Wallaby WalkAbout, Children's Zoo.
The Cat's Meow Café
This is one of our favorite spots in Bloomington and where we adopted both of our adored cats! If you are a cat person or even an animal lover then spend a hour or two here and enjoy the furry company. They also have a coffee shop inside with fun seasonal drinks!
