Come celebrate with us!

Kevin and I met 8 years ago while attending Penn State University - Harrisburg. We lived on the same floor and had met through a mutual friend. we started to hangout more and more, realizing we had a fair share of interests in common. I honestly never thought that he and I would grow our relationship to be more than just good friends. During the summers we would visit one another; either in New Jersey/Philadelphia or good ole Connecticut. Getting to know our families more and more, it seemed like maybe we were meant to be more than just friends. Eventually we graduated and grew closer day by day living in Chicago. This was one of the biggest decisions we've made as a couple. Moving to Chicago solidified my feelings for Kevin, I knew that we would be able to make it through anything. While we have our differences, grew up in two different worlds, and the road to where we are now wasn't easy to come by; we're still learning and becoming the people we want to be, so thank you so much for celebrating this day with us.

While on a family trip to Spain and France that Vanessa pretty much high jacked. Kevin teamed up with her maid of honor Erika to give Vanessa the surprise of a lifetime. Kevin got on a connecting flight, while Vanessa had no clue that he even left the country, her and her friends explored France. Later that night, Vanessa waited under the Eiffel Tower, unknowingly this would be the night that Kevin proposed. Getting tricked by her maid of honor, Vanessa turned around after taking a photo and Kevin appeared in front of her and asked her to marry him. A little shocked Vanessa couldn't get the words out, but obviously she said yes!
