Question

Where is the ceremony and reception? Are they separate locations?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are on the same property, Arrowhead acres in Uxbridge. When you enter the venue you will drive down to the bottom of a hill towards the large banquet hall where parking attendants will help you park. Then you will walk around the back of the building and find our ceremony area, the Chapel in the Pines. After the ceremony you will get back into your car and the parking attendants will guide you back up the road to a rustic barn area on the left, this is the reception area!

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We chose a simple menu of starters, main courses, sides and dessert. The starters and main course will be buffet style and due to Covid restrictions there will be servers there to place the food on your plate.

Are you both brides?

Answer

The simple answer is no. Vanessa goes by gender neutral or masculine terms so they will be considered the ‘groom’ although terminology doesn’t really matter to either Vanessa or Katie.

What COVID restrictions will be in place?

Answer

The state of Massachusetts has restrictions in place for the wedding in order to keep everyone safe. As of April there will only be six people per table and the table will be spaced out. Masks will need to be worn in congregate settings like the buffet area, while speaking to staff members, at the bar and while doing s’mores. Fully vaccinated adults can mingle and dance without a mask per CDC. This answer may change as the date gets closer!

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

We would like to keep ‘plus ones’ to married couples only however check your invitation envelope, they are addressed to the people invited. Due to COVID we have to keep our guest list small and we appreciate your help with this, thank you!

Wedding gifts?

Answer

We have a registry that you can chose a gift off of however the adventure fund found in the registry, travel gift cards or cards at the wedding are the gifts we would prefer. We appreciate the opportunity to continue our love of traveling together! Thank you
