Their story began at the end of their freshman year of high school when John joined Vanessa’s English class as a new student. Sitting directly behind her, he often asked to borrow a pencil, and what started as a simple classroom interaction soon grew into the beginning of a meaningful connection. After spending a month getting to know one another, their friendship naturally turned into a relationship. On Cinco de Mayo, May 5, 2015, John asked Vanessa to be his girlfriend, and they have been together ever since. In 2018, they graduated from high school and celebrated this important milestone side by side. The following year, in 2019, they took another step forward in their relationship by moving in together. Over the years, they have continued to grow alongside one another, building a life filled with love, support, and countless memories. As their relationship deepened, they knew they were ready for the next chapter. On December 21, 2024, John proposed, marking the beginning of an exciting new season in their lives. After cherishing every moment of their engagement, they are thrilled to begin this next chapter as husband and wife and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with family and friends.
